Katrina

We recently received an update from Katrina's family!  Here's the email:

Good morning --

I just wanted to give you guys an update on Katrina - the black Pit Bull.

I adopted Katrina in December 2005. If you remember her, she was very frightened of men in particular, and has all the psychological scars of a terribly abused dog.

Well, she's doing very well! She has a little brother who's a 1 year old Beagle named Merlin, and a little sister who's a young cat (she was a stray, probably around 9 months old) named Voodoo.

She spends her time playing with the other dog and with the kitty, and lounging around on the furniture (even though her Daddy says to stay off it! haha!)

She is still not sure what to do about my Stepson...so she barks and runs away whenever he comes into the room. But she's getting very accustomed to her new Daddy. My husband and I have just been married for about 6 months now. She often climbs in the bed with us at night and curls up with him. As long as he's laying down, he's apparently no threat to her..and makes a pretty decent pillow!!
